Agent Safety Alert

"The Agent Safety Alert is designed to share all safety warnings, missing persons, threats, etc. among the Realtors and Real Estate Agents around the U.S. With such a large number of Realtors (over 1.2 million as of April, 2008), our goal is to save lives and discourage predators. INFORMATION IS POWER - AND HOPE! In order to help you leverage that power, we will be donating 1/4th of all the fees paid to subscribe to the Agent Safety Alert to our anticipated non-profit organization: Real Estate Agents Against Violence, Inc. This money will be used to fight violence, fund the Amber Alert Organization through The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and towards the medical care required by uninsured Realtors/Real Estate Agents injured by violence. Our Agent Safety Alerts will be set up similar to the Amber Alerts - but on a broader scale. Where the Amber Alerts are only issued by City, County, or State per the Justice Departments mandates, we will set the Agent Safety Alerts up by County, State, and Surrounding States. Please ask your local Board/Association of Realtors for inclusion in this Alert System. We will be contacting each individual Board/Association to offer this service in the coming months. If you are not a member of your local Board/Association but you are a licensed Real Estate Agent, you can subscribe to this service individually.
In addition to the Agent Safety Alerts, all our subscribers will be included in the Amber Alerts. We anticipate working with The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to be a facilitator of the Amber Alerts. Per this organization's requirements, we will not be charging for the Amber Alert Service and we will follow the Justice Department's mandates on how to proceed. My thought on this was - who better to aid in the safe return of a missing or endangered child than by such a large, organized group of people (Realtors/Real Estate Agents) who are trained to observe and who are out in the world on our highways and streets constantly? Working together, we can accomplish so much! And hopefully, save lives!
